Refund policy

The Korean version prevails. This page is a summary translation.

1. When we refund

We refund, whether or not you've opened it, if you paid but did not receive the report, if generation failed so it cannot be opened, if what you received differs from the described contents (first messages, how to approach, what to avoid, etc.), or if the same order was paid twice.

2. Right of withdrawal (Korean E-Commerce Act, Art. 17)

In principle you may withdraw within 7 days of payment. Because this is digital content, we say right above the pay button that change-of-mind refunds aren't available once the report opens, and before payment we show a free score, preview, and advice sample. From the moment the full report first opens (web view or PDF download, as recorded by our server), withdrawal for a simple change of mind is restricted. Before it opens, you can withdraw within 7 days. Cases in item 1, and content that differs from the advertisement or contract (within 3 months of supply and 30 days of discovering it), remain eligible even after viewing.

3. How to request

Email hi@defacto.co.kr with your order number (shown on the completion screen and receipt) and the reason. Support hours: Weekdays 10:00-17:00 KST (closed weekends and holidays). Once confirmed, we refund to the original payment method.

4. Minors

This service is for ages 14 and up. If someone under 19 paid without a legal guardian's consent, they or their guardian may cancel the contract and we refund it whether or not the report was opened. Let us know using the method above.

5. Personal information

We use only your order number and payment record to confirm a refund. See below for how personal information is handled.

6. Notice version

Notice version above the pay button: refund-v1-2026-10-07. For each order we record which notice was shown and when, and when the full report first opened, and use these to review refunds.
